We may send your order in more than one package if some items are not in stock; however we will only charge you one postage fee. Please allow a total delivery time of 1-5 business days for all Royal Mail Recorded Delivery items. A signature is required for all deliverys. For Recorded Delivery items, we will provide you with a tracking number on request. You may track your parcel at www.royalmail.com.
UK Gaurantee Next Day Special Delivery
Please allow a total delivery time of 1 business day for all Next Day Delivery items. A signature is required for all deliverys. For Next Day Delivery items please place your order before 15.30 hrs. Orders placed after 15.30 hrs may be processed the following day. We will provide you with a tracking number on request. You may track your parcel at www.royalmail.com
International Signed For (Outside UK)
For International deliveries, delivery times are dependant on the efficiency of your country's mail service. Western European parcels normally arrive within 4 to 7 working days, but you should allow up to 2 weeks. For the rest of the world, please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery. A signature is often required upon delivery for international parcels.
What if I'm not in when you deliver?
Courier deliveries will usually be made on Mondays to Fridays between 9am and 5pm. We realise that occasionally Couriers may try to deliver an order and you (or the intended recipient) may not be available. Each time an attempt is made, The Courier will leave a card at the delivery address confirming that they have tried to deliver. This card contains a contact number so you can speak to the Couriers and agree a convenient delivery time.
If the carrier has recorded a failed delivery and the goods are returned to us as you failed to pick up the goods within the time limits imposed by the carrier, we will treat this as a cancelled order and we will make a charge not exceeding £10.00 to cover our costs in sending these goods out to you. You will also be charged postage at our current tariff if you require the goods to be redelivered.
We regret that we cannot be held responsible if the carrier has failed to notify you of an attempted delivery. You will need to take this up with the carrier.
Shipping and Tracking Questions:
UK First Class Recorded Delivery can take up to 5 working days to arrive from dispatch. If it hasn't arrived after 15 working days we can file a Lost Package claim with Royal Mail. They will investigate the missing package and compensate us when they confirm it hasn't been delivered, after which we can simply resend the order for you.
UK Gaurantee Next Day Special Delivery should of course arrive the next day after dispatch. If they haven't arrived, it could be that the driver could not find the address or there was nobody home (as far as the driver could tell). In such instances the tracking information at www.royalmail.com should be up-dated to state this. They may also have left a 'While You Were Out' card with information on how to arrange a re-delivery or pick the package up yourself.
International (worldwide) Signed For should arrive within 4 to 14 working days from dispatch. There's no tracking for Standard mail, but Registered packages can be basically tracked at www.royalmail.com and also on the websites of your own national postal service. If a package has not been delivered after 30 working days, then we can file a claim with the post service and they will investigate and compensate us once they have confirmed the non-delivery. We are then able to resend your order for you.
If your order has not been delivered within the usual timescale quoted on site it is most likely that the parcel has been delayed in the postal system. Royal Mail will not deem a parcel to be lost until it has been in the postal system (national or international) for a period of 15 working days. It is very rare for a parcel to take this length of time to arrive but we are unable to put a request for a trace until this period of time has elapsed.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for items delayed or lost in the postal system as this is beyond our control.
In the unlikely event that your goods have been lost in transit, we are unable to refund or resend goods until our enquires have been completed. This can take up to 28 working days as a trace will need to be issued to track your goods. In most circumstances this will be resolved sooner.
Compensation
Your UK First Class Recorded Delivery item will be automatically covered for up to £36 compensation, in the unlikely event of loss or damage. For more valuable items, we advise to use Special Delivery™ Next Day service.
When you use UK Next Day Special Delivery Mon-Fri you can claim compensation up to £500 or the value of the item, whichever is the lower. You can claim compensation for loss or damage items in writing within 1 month of posting.
Your International (worldwide) Signed For item will be automatically covered for up to £36 compensation, in the unlikely event of loss or damage.
